Formerly known as Efrat Winery, Teperberg began producing wines way back in 1870, from their home in the old city of Jerusalem. They soon left the walls, and continued to produce traditional Jewish wines for Sabbath and holidays.

Today, Teperberg as a winery has achieved fine status through its wines that compete with top Israeli vineyards. Teperberg Meritage, for example, a Bordeaux-style blend, has received good reviews in the media. The winery produces four lines of wines: Reserve, Select, Terra, and Israeli traditional.
