Ingredients

½ cup peeled and sliced cucumbers
1¹/₂ Cups ripe cut tomatoes
½ cup tomato juice
½ onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. sugar (optional)
1 Tbs. olive oil
1 Tbs. lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Dash of Tabasco
1 tsp. diced chives

Preparation

Blend the ingredients for 2 to 3 minutes except for the chives, which can be used as a garnish after pouring the mixture over 4 ice cubes.

Makes 2 cups.
